A first at 60 cm: our weekend at the AR Team Internal Competition
Four classes in two days, two clear rounds, a second place, and Macan Velar's first time at 0.60 m.

Two days, four classes and a first. Macan Velar jumped the AR Team Internal Competition at home on 24 and 25 October 2026, with Bayu Pinasthika in the saddle for every round.
Day one started small on purpose. In the J2A Learn To Jump class Macan went clear in 49.92 seconds for fourth place: a calm, even round and exactly the start we wanted. Later that day, in the J4A Show Jumping 30-50 cm, he was quicker at 40.69 seconds but took one rail, four faults and fourteenth place. Nothing to worry about, just something to tidy up.
Day two showed what a night's rest and a bit of experience can do. In the J4B Show Jumping 30-50 cm he went clear again in 46.73 seconds and finished second, his best result so far.
Then came the step up. The J6B Show Jumping 40-60 cm was a speed class and the highest Macan has ever jumped in competition. He met the bigger fences with the same rhythm and was clear until the very end, when one rail came down. Four faults in 46.20 seconds and tenth place, but the height is behind him now: 0.60 m is his new level.
Two clears out of four, a second place and a new height, all in one weekend. Thank you to the AR Team Equestrian crew who keep him happy and ready, and to everyone who came out to watch.
Every round from the weekend is in the season record on the homepage, with a short video of each one. Next up: more mileage at 60 cm, and keeping the rails up.
